My deepest condolescences to the Sommers family. College is and has always been a transition for students and the changes and frustrations can be overwhelming. Sorry his friends and brothers could not see this around the corner...makes you stop and ponder how good we have it most of our lives even when we think "we have it so bad"...God bless!!

Condolences.
This is a kind of tragedy that has touched me personally.
When I was a Division officer, there was a suicide at one of our chapters.
The candlelight memorial ceremony in the parking lot at the house with the university and Greek Community was heart wrenching.
It was particularly difficult meeting the parents -- and when the chapter president asked me what to say.
How would I know?
I didn't understand.
Speechless.

What a sad situation for the Family and His Brothers.
One never knows what is in the mind of an individual as much it as is tried.
My Condolences go out to both, I am sure it is a trying time for all.

Ouch. I've had a friend commit suicide. It's a tough thing -- especially when there's absolutely no warning.
