Old/New membership

Ok so I have looked all over for information about this specific topic and now I need someones advice/help. I attend a small commuter school and I was a part of an NPC sorority about a year and 1/2 ago. However I have been working with some women on campus to create a new sorority on campus, but there are some women I know who want to leave the NPC to come to join with us. We would like to start a chapter of Kappa Beta Gamma or another non-NPC affiliated chapter on campus b/c thats all we have right now. I think diversity and more choices will help during the recruitment process. Anyways what I need to know is, can these women leave NPC and still join or is there a waiting period? Is there any rule against starting another NPC when you were originally affiliated with one to begin with. Any advice or help?

If you were already initiated into one of the 26 NPC sororities, you cannot join any of the other NPC sororities. I don't know the policies on Kappa Beta Gamma and being an initiated NPC sister...others on here know better than I do.

They MAY NOT join another NPC sorority if they've been jnitiated into an NPC already.

They MAY NOT start another NPC chapter if they've been initiated into another NPC.

They MAY however pursue non-NPC sororities.

If they have PLEDGED an NPC sorority and depledged, they cannot accept a bid from any other NPC sorority for one calendar year.

It is so annoying when people want to abandon their organizations to join others especially over the most trivial and dumb things.
