Kansas State U. KKG House Damaged, $30,000 estimated

A sprinkler system pipe broke and caused an estimated $30,000 worth of damage at the Kappa Kappa Gamma house at Kansas State:

Luckily, insurance is expected to cover most of the costs.

OUCH!

It will be costly even with Insurance!

At least the fire department go there quick.

Suggest they learn how to turn the damn water off ASAP!

Oh, House Manager!

Maybe they will learn now?

Good luck ladies!

If the water was gushing that hard and fast, it still would have done damage.

How many people actuallly know where/how to turn off water where they are?

Amen to that. During a basketball game at my college here this year, a ball hit part of the sprinkler system and it flooded the floor quickly. The floor was ruined and the team had to play its remaining games at high schools.

I feel terrible for those women and the loss of their things. What an irony to have a house and personal property destroyed by the very thing that is designed to keep them safe.
