Post Funds 4 Students

Hello, all.

New here, and I just want to say, hey. I've looked at this Site for about a week now, and I've seen some really good points. I respect the devoted parents getting all of their kids to college, who nurture them through the young years, and all. But, what happens after a kid - or should I say, young Adult, what do these, young Adults do for money? During times of recession, and the downturn of the economy, not everyone has time to get a job; not everyone has wealthy parents. So, how do these young Adults get money?

I, Second year Berkeley Student in Computer Science, am forming and organizing a group for Students to get money, and get proper housing. Please take time and consideration into signing up. I've been in recent completion with our Website, I shall post it up here shortly.

Regards

The phrase you want is "downturn" not "down pour." I take it English is not your first language.

OK, you need to clarify HOW you intend to raise funds for students. Other good things to explain would be: Are you an actual "non-profit" as your website describes? Are you a 501-C3? How are you different from the thousands of scholarships, grants, and loans out there?

You're not making any sense, and until you do, you're not going to get much help from anyone.

The website and organization is still in development, I'm seeing if anyone would like to help me start it up, as this is important.

If this is the case, then this thread belongs in either Careers and Employment, Cool Sites, or Chit Chat. Not Fundraising.

See, you're still not explaining what the point of your organization is. Why would anyone want to help with a pointless project?

I'm beginning to think you are a troll.... or just clueless.

Thanks, I'm a bit new to these forums, and thought it would be in Fundraising since it would be raising money for students.

The point of Funds4Students is to raise money for Students who cannot pay money for Tuition among other College expenses. I'm new to this type of things, and just trying to help out where I can.

I'll try to update the Site later on Today. So stay in touch.

Is anyone else reminded of "The Human Fund" from Seinfeld?

Not my choosing. greekchat purchased that car for me to catch assholes such as yourself. You've got bad taste in sockpuppet names. VUG1 and 101?
