Question Serving Two Masters

I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION FOR THE BRUHS. IN THE SPRING OF THIS SEMESTER, I PLEDGED A COMMUNITY SERVICE FRATERNITY NAMED UPSILON PHI UPSILON. IT'S SISTER ORGANIZATION ARE THE LADIES OF OMEGA TAU PI. THEY DO COMMUNITY SERVICE MAINLY BUT THEY ALSO HOP, STROLL, HAVE CALLS, JACKETS, CANES, ETC. DO YOU THINK IT'S A GOOD IDEA FOR PEOPLE TO BE IN TWO FRATERNITIES AS SUCH. I LOVE IOTA WITH ALL MY HEART AND IT IS FIRST IN MY SOUL BUT UPSILON HAS BEEN PROVIDING ME WITH WONDERFUL NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK?

Just stopping through and saw this thread:

I'm a member of two organizations Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, Inc. (its co-ed). APO is also a service fraternity and many of the members do steps, strolls, wear jackets, and have a call. The reason I pledge was because I'm service oriented, and you pledged for your own reasons. The main thing is that you give your time equally to both. If you took the time to pledge Upsilon Phi Upsilon then you can take the time to keep the chapter up and running.

*Remember its all in service!

It happens all the time on the alumnae level. Folxs are members of a D9and also Boule, Masons, OES, Links, TLOD, Iota Phi Lambda, etc. The key is not stretching yourself so thin that all the orgs. get cheated.
