I hope that I'm not stepping on any toes by posting on the forum before I am a member but I have a few questions that I would like addressed.
I'm just beginning my process and because the undergraduate chapter at my school was suspended I'm going through the local graduate chapter. One of the things that the ladies of the chapter made very clear to us was that they do not participate in a "pledging" or "rushing" process and that receiving line names and numbers was a part of that. She said that we would not be assigned numbers or given names. Though I know that this will not keep me from joining I am concerned about getting the full experience from the process.
So my questions are:
Is receiving a line name and number a tradition like I thought that it was or just an "added bonus?"
Will not having a line name affect my credibility with other Zetas?
Can the name of the line and line names be given once we are back on campus?
Any replies will be much appreciated.
