Well, they already run that campus. Might as well make it official.

Sorry to crash:

I'm pretty sure Ole Miss' new football coach, Houston Nutt, is from that chapter or he might have been initiated at U of AR where he started his college career.

Glitter, you know you are always welcome!

Nutt started his career at Arkansas as a drop back QB, but didn't get much playing time. This prompted him to transfer to OSU, where he graduated.

I can't find anything mentioning him being greek tho.

[edit. checked nationals directory, and found no mention of Houston... which is good, as I don't think he's a very good coach]

Nutt's a pretty good coach. I like his attitude -- the guy doesn't coach with fear of losing. I think he's an improvement at Ole Miss.

Houston's a great guy and I wish him all the luck at Ole Miss. He did an awful lot as far as raising interest in the Razorback Football Program and gaining statewide support and love for the Hogs. Kudos for that and thanks for 10 years. I'd be more heartbroken if we had an SEC championship to show for it!!

I wonder how many other Sigma Nus are running universities as head executive. Chancellor White at Arkansas... President Hargis at OSU... anyone know of others?

The former president at Washington & Lee is a Sigma Nu. He has since graduated to the chapter eternal, however.

From the sound of it, the media had a big part to play in his decision.

I think the ladies of The Grove may have also played a small role.
