Post Interest or Groupie??

The other day I came into contact with a older brother of your esteemed organization. During the conversation he began to comment on aspects of the fraternity. I mentioned a few things that I had known from my own research..just common things like the 7 jewels and the date of inception. He then asked me if a Alpha was in my family. I politely said no..I just read alot. He referred me to read the DIVINE NINE and when I said I had already read it, he simply commented that "you sure do read alot." A similar situation happened to me when talking to a Kappa.I was wondering, if this makes me look like a smart-alec. Its never done with the intention to impress or upset..its just like odd tibits that I seem to remember. In the future I hope to persue greek affiliation....should i tone down these comments while in the presence of members, especially those who represent the org I wish to committ to?

Do I seem more like BGLO interest or a BGLO groupie??

I think this is a question you should ponder a little more.
