USC Alumna Honored with Medal of Freedom
Marlo Thomas, who is a Kappa Alpha Theta from the USC chapter, received the Medal of Freedom at a White House ceremony on November 24th, 2014. Marlo has been a successful actress, writer and tireless fundraiser for St. Jude Hospital. Ms. Thomas serves as the National Outreach Director for St. Jude Hospital. While at SC she was active in her chapter and on campus. She graduated in 1959.
Marlo, Tony and Terre Thomas have all been strong supporters of St. Jude and the fight against children's cancers. The children's research hospital was founded by their father, Danny Thomas.
