Wink REGIONALS

The end of April will be my first Regional.
Is it anything I should know to prepare myself? I'm so excited.

Peace & Blessings

Congrats on your first Regional Conference.

Words of advice--

1. Take a copy of Robert's Rules with you, you'll need it! It will become your conference bible.

2. Pay attention to what is going on around you.

3. Take good notes.

4. Make sure you have all the appropriate attire.

5. Brings lots of money--ususally there is always good para at the conferences (smile).

GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Now that I'm seasoned regionals attendee (I only attended one, right after I was made last year!) but yes read upon the Robert Rules of order BEFORE you go. Know when its the right time to make that motion or get one heard. We all love a savvy sister who got the rules down pat!

As a new soror, start learning now how the sorority works on some level, be it local, state, etc. to get a feel of why things are the way it is. That's one of the many reasons on why its important to pay attention.

The workshops that you may not find interest in at the first glance could be the most important one there is.

Best of all, have fun! Learn your chants, party walks and other "social etiquettes" of the sorority. Circulate the most with sorors outside of your chapter, even town. There is so much more to learn!

And watch those Sigmas!!
