Lightbulb Pledge Philanthropy Help!

Hey girls, I'm currently pledging SDT and am philanthropy chair for my pledge class. Does anybody have any good ideas from their chapter on what to do for a philanthropy project?

For my pledge class (Texas, Tau Chapter, Fall 2009) we had a fundraiser at Spicy Pickle, a popular restaurant near our Campus. We talked with the owners and worked out a deal where between the hours of 6-9 or something we received the proceeds from anything bought there, and we then donated this money to PCAA. A lot of restaurants are willing to do something like this, particularly popular college ones, and it is always a good way to raise money.
