We use pink dots. For everything we do, we put pink dots out all over campus. People see the dots and think, Phi Mu. Even if they don't read what the posters say, the dots are a good way to get people to think about Phi Mu. Also, Facebook can be an excellent tool if used correctly. Start a group like 'Students of Whatever University' invite people from all over campus to join, and set one person from each organization as a moderator. By doing this, everyone will be able to send out messages about what is going on. I am the PR chair for the student government, and this has been the most useful tool for informing the student body of what is going on. Of course, I go to a school of less than 2000 students, so this might be a better venue for us than for some other larger schools. Also, if you are making posters, use glitter. Glitter is always good and gets people's attention. In order to keep up your image, send out care packages to other organizations/residence halls around Christmas, Easter, or exams. People will be grateful, and will take note that Phi Mu cares about everone!
