Brothers,
I talked to Brian Stone, LCAP Property Manager, Friday and he had no idea when it would go out. I believe that it is now in the hands of the printer.

Mike, thanks for the update!
We can only hope!
This is one of the ways while costly to keep Brothers informed of what is happening with LXA.
I know I am among many who look forward to getting any information from IHQ!

Billy aka Mooch, call HQ and make sure that you are on the list of subscribers and that they have your address correct. Don't feel left out tho, I have not gotten one either.

Do it now, sign up, maybe need a current Mailing address, can do that too.
Not only Mike Raymonds outstanding piece, but Jonos about the Alum Association Pin that was designed by Jono and helped to be put in form by Chip Hinde. I hope I got that all right?
I have one that Jono gave me and is very impressive.
A great item that would mean a lot to any Zeta Alum and used as a Fund Raiser.

Got it today!
Wow...check out page 29, lower left corner - Captain John Trylch - the most outstanding High Alpha I've ever seen, and I've seen very good (and a few not-so-good) ones!
John was and is the most gifted leader I ever had the pleasure of knowing, and, he has had quite the Army career. I was invited to his ROTC commissioning ceremony - quite moving - and quite a resume he had already (was prior enlisted before college).
John is in charge of a Troop of Calvary, in Iraq. If you do a google search on his name, you'll find he's been interviewed by Stars and Stripes regularly, and, has also been highly decorated.
I wish him the safest of travels home to his wife. Last I knew, they were in California, but, I think he's relocated for his current unit. Join me in praying for his safety.
Mailing address - send him a line!

Mike Raymond's article on King Rene was excellent and did indeed reflect a lot of research. The other stories were also very good, but one in particular had special meaning for me personally.
I remember being at the awards ceremony at the 1973 General Assembly (my first) and how totally blown away I was at the speech given by the Duke Flad winner. He was just a college kid like me but he spoke with such eloquence I just could not believe it. I am still impressed by it to this day, although I really don't recall exactly what he said.
Then to read that the speech was taped and played for Will Geer later on, which helped launch Michael O'Neill's acting career, was really cool. I didn't even know that brother had turned into an actor.
I wouldn't mind hearing it again myself after 32 years! Is it on the website?

Jono

Well I finally got a copy of the C&C. I started to go through withdraw. Very interesting issue. I will definitely get on our Kappa about adding Mike's article to our new member booklet.

Yeah I was starting to go thru withdrawal too, till the issue arrived in the mail on Monday. Really great articles. There was one letter to the editor that got my attention tho....about publishing non-positive things, I guess like chapters on probation, etc etc., things like that.
Brothers, what do you think about that? Should the C&C devote a page to discuss chapters that are having problems, either internally or externally?
