Prayer Requests

What up Bros?

I got this idea from the Gam forum, and I thought it was a good idea. If any of you guys have any prayer requests, I would be happy to pray for you guys about anything, I mean, you are my brothers. I think this could be a powerful thing.

Feel free to post any prayer requests, or if don't wanna do that, or you just wanna talk, you can always e-mail me, PM, or send me an AIM message.

If you're not into Christianity, no biggie, it still can't hurt to have someone praying for ya, right?

I'll get this started:

Ben Mayhair, a Pike from my chapter that I've mentioned before, is recovering from colon cancer and needs all the prayer he can get. He's doing really well right now and things are looking up.

Condolences and Prayers to fellow Arkansans, the AZ chapter and Bro. Meldrum and family. This has got to be a very hard time for him.

MattPike, Glad to hear that everything's going great at your chapter! Prayers can only help it, though!

Enjoy your summer Bros!

i've got one

this is zach. i haven't posted in a while. this has been a pretty tough year for me personally. i lost one of my best friends in a car accident on new year's eve. then we lost one of our top spring pledges in a car accident. i also have been battling some heart problems. so i would like to ask prayers for the good health and safety of all of our brothers as well as anyone else in the world. no since in just praying for brothers. lets pray especially for those who are over in the middle east fighting.

Zach-- certainly praying for ya bro.

I've got a prayer request of my own. One of my best friends, Sara, has Cystic Fibrosis (genetic disease affecting lungs and digestive tracts), and is currently in the hospital not doing too well. She's 20, and has been battaling CF her whole life.
She's one of the coolest girls in the world, a Grade A Hottie, and a great Pike Girl. Please pray for her bros!

For more info on CF, visit the cystic fibrosis foundation website at:

www.cff.org It would be a great philanthropy if your chapter does a lot of philanthropy work.

An unfortunate tragedy has occured as we lost another one of our own. On July 24th Brother Chad Griner was killed in an automobile accident. If we could please keep him and his family in our prayers.

I want to ask you guys to pray for the Colony members at Rogers State in Claremore, OK. I am on their alumni advisory board and found out Thursday that Wednesday night one of their guys, Jacob Dexter, was killed in a car accident on his way home from work. These guys have been kicking ass and this was a huge blow to them. Thanks.

thats bad to hear

that is always a tough thing to go through. when i was at ECU we lost a pledge to a car wreck during spring break. it was a shock, he was only 18 and you never expect something like that. it just sneaks up on you. thats when the true brotherhood comes out and people come together.
