This is really sad for us Washingtonians. As I type this I'm watching the tribute on KOMO-TV and crying. I feel so bad for her family and her coworkers - that anchor team has been together for 25-30 years...longer than any other team west of the Mississippi. There is a memorial outside of the station, where people have been dropping off flowers and signing a notebook of condolences. I feel like a part of this city has died...the "old" Seattle that doesn't exist anymore and all the transplants don't understand.
