I might suggest first speaking with your Headquarters and NPC delegate - they have done sort of thing before, and will be able to give you the information, and as in most cases, will work with AST at the National Executive Council/HQ level to help form it.

Obviously, the AST colony wil have enough pressures in becoming a colony (numbers etc.), and until they are installed, it may be something to put some plans in place, but keep it loose in case they have things from their side that need to be worked out. Your HQ will be able to guide you in this, so please be sure to give them a ring!!

Good luck!!

(PS The NPC Green Book has all the procedures and the like to follow formation of a Panhellenic. Your HQ will be able to send you a copy )

ZetaKris--

I heard that NPC may be coming to NYU. If you are interested, check out the NPC website at www.npcwomen.org and look for your regional area advisor. They'd be able to help you with whatever you need.

As for AST, they probably have some criteria for granting the charter in the future, but if they just recently affiliated, they have to wait a bit and probably complete some form of a colony program.

I'm so glad the D Phi Es and you all are successful with recruitment. I met some of the D Phi Es from NYU at our last convention, and they were really nice! And it's great to have our Alpha chapter!!
