Phil Jackson and the Lakers:

The Cavs withdrew his name for talks as their head coach.

Wavering Laker fan here

Who doesn't want to see Ex-Laker Head Coach Philip return. Kob***** needs to be punished more. He needs to suffer, and if Phil comes back, he's not going to suffer.

To me, it's not enough to see the Heat as a contender. Kob***** really needs to see the magnitude of what his selfishness and ego hath wrought.

Soror, let me break it down to you.

Kobe ain't going to do S#$T. He believes that what ever happened to that girl was a mistake that we can all forget or forgotten and it was an accident. I'm waiting for Vanessa to have baby number two and bounce. But her life is lovely. If I was in her shoes and Kobe tired to start some mess, I pull out old girl's picture and say "Remember this" and he would quickly back down.

I don't want Phil going back to the Lakers, don't give the satisfaction...I'm sorry let them suffer another year or two. I think jerry probably just wants Phil back at the Lakers because his daughter is probably like Daddy I want my man Philly to be a Laker coach again. I rather see him come to the east and coach the Knicks.

Agree . However, I don't think Thomas is going to give Jackson the power he want.

Phil Jackson is a "closer;" he takes championship level teams to the next level. The present Lakers are not yet ready for prime time.

why he should do it:
1. Kobe is still a top 5 player in the Association.
2. Smashin' on the bosses' daughter, PJ can roll into work when he wanna.
3. Presumably, in addition to the $10 mill/season, he'd have the ok to put his foot dead off in Kobe's azz, if need be.

why he shouldn't do it:
1. Tim Duncan
2. Kevin Garnett
3. Yao Ming
(The Lakers at present have no answer for any of these WC big men.)
4. Kobe still hasn't learned how to be a teammate, and make his squad better.

That's the only way it could work...is to allow Philip to put the foot up Ko*****'s azz. Ko***** has a long way to go before he becomes a good teammate, and at 26, who knows if that will ever happen?

Great points. I REALLY don't want him to come back to the Lakers. He needs to assist a team that will allow him to do his thing.

I knew it wouldn't happen when the Cavs pulled out. I agreed with Kiml 122. I'd rather see Phil Jackson coaching the Knicks than dealing with a lot of B.S. from Kobe.

Question:

Excellent points made Tony. Phil has been there and done that.
