Exclamation A New Alpha Gam Song

So I happen to be a born poet and sometimes, I get the urge to put music to my words. I play guitar, so the majority of my stuff gets played out on that (though I am writing a song that hopefully IHQ will select for our Centennial that is for piano). Here's one I wrote last night:

Sisterhood
By: Jess George (AY) 1-1-03

Shout it out loud, every Alpha Gam sing!
Let's tell the world of this sisterhood thing,
of a bond that's so strong that time bows down at the sound of its name.
We sing for joy and we join our hands,
Forever we're sisters, forever we'll stand
'Cause nothing compares to the friendship that we,
Nothing compares to the friendship that we,
Nothing compares to the friendship that we hold dear.

One of the things every Alpha Gam knows
Is how every sister is just like a rose,
How each of us grow into beautiful beings in sisterly love.
We're Alpha Gams and we're proud to be
Members of this grand fraternity
'Cause nothing compares to the friendship that we,
Nothing compares to the friendship that we,
Nothing compares to the friendship that we hold dear.

This is great. I would love to hear it to music. I hope that the other song works out for you and that I get to hear it in the Windy City.
