wrist bands
Hi all,
I havent been on here for awhile, I just graduated and its been crazy. Now onto my question, any orgs here would be interested in wrist bands, like the yellow live strong bands, with your sorority name on it? I am interested in starting this venture up, but would like to know if there is an interest for it. Thanks in advance.

If they had those, I'd get one for my org(s) but I'd want them NOW before they get played out.
Unless you could find something equally as inexpensive and with potential for ubiquity.

Danielle,
Your right, you see them EVERYWHERE, but you dont see them everywhere with your sorority name on them. They still seem to be VERY popular where as businesses are now using them as promotional tools. We will see if there is a demand for them or not, I dont know if there is. But you do bring up a good point.

Maybe it's better to find a newer trend to catch on to. By the time you got started up, getting trademark permissions and all that, it will be totally utterly out of style
Several GLOs, including my own, had wristbands to support their cause (ours was Prevent Childabuse America), and I don't really think they did too well...
There's just such a glut in the market.
Though I do love anything with greek letters on them! (well, except thongs, lol)

Thanks for the advice Danielle. Around here in NJ there seems to be and interest with some multicultural orgs, so I might go ahead with it. Thank you everyone for your posts.

I was thinking about it and I don't know...it seems that it would be cheaper for the orgs to cut out the middle-man (or woman) and just purchase them for themselves. Even if they didn't have a "store" per se, they could hold onto them and sell them as needed.
There are a number of places that do them but few have Greek letters. Usually, you'd have to get the words printed out. Example:

PJ,
I agree but the minimum order with this company is 500 where as the requirement I am offering is only 20 bands. A lot of newer orgs do not have that many members to order.
