Hey ladies this is really sad but another one of our Quills is on ebay

yes the current bidder on it as of today is an Alpha Xi.

for anyone who doesn't know... I am jadonandgracesmom on Ebay...I used to be jadonsmom!!. I'm still the highest bidder, but we'll see...it's going for a lot more than it should. I don't know the other person biddiing. They have won something with sigma chi on it in the past. If anyone knows for sure if it is an A Xi then I will stop bidding...that's usually my policy on quills...unless it's something I'm really interested in having for myself!

I saw the colony pin on there for $150 and just went "Wow!" It seems just a little (or maybe even a whole lot) overpriced.

WOW! There is a lot of Quills. It just makes me mad to see that they are from some of our older chapters that are no longer around.

The bidders so far are
jadonandgracesmom (i know is an AXiD for sure)
axialumbh (well from her name i can tell she's one)

Does anyone know if she is an AXiD:
amp1094 (<--- not sure about her)

WHAT is the story with all the Quills on eBay?

And why are sisters driving up the prices? That will only make more stupid people sell them. It's awfully selfish for one or two sisters to do this......not all of us have unlimited funds. I am starting to lose respect for them. I can understand if they go against a non-member but honestly, you can only wear one at a time! We should be helping each other, not hurting each other. What happened to them in kindergarten, did their teacher not teach them to share?

I personally collect quills so if you angry about that well... all I can say is I'm sorry. If you every send me an email about a quill you really want then I don't bid. The two quills from beta eta chapter that are up and just finished are being purchased for axialumbh since they are from her chapter. I had originally bid and now I'm mailing it to her once I receive it. axialumbh and I chat often. Please feel free to email me anytime about a quill you really want if I'm bidding. Amp1094 will bid against you no matter what and most likely won't respond to any emails you send her. A pin collector won one of the quills that was up for under $30 as well. I usually bid high since the collectors snipe at the last minute. Other sisters have also been bidding against me lately and probably don't know I'm a sister. If you have an issue with a bidder... or me... contact them/me... don't pout about it.

If I ever win a quill that you are really interested in or is from your chapter etc. PLEASE contact me... I usually will sell them to you for the exact same price I paid for them. I'm doing that with 2 quills right now.

I'm not angry, I just think it's sad. I'm not bidding because I think every sister should have a chance. I don't want to drive up the prices against them. There only seems to be one or two that consistently overbid sisters. Why keep bidding over other sisters? It's proven by looking at the bid history. I also wonder about trying to "save Quills" and then see a sister bidding on another group's badges. We shoud practice what we preach.
