Even though my father in law isn't a historical figure, I have to post a stupid quote from him for all the world to see.

KR's Father-in-Law upon being informed that KR's biological sister is pursuing a medical residency in transplant surgery:

How about Columbus? Dude did not even know where the h*ll he was going? He basically bumped into (what was to be) North America by accident. He saw all these brown skinned people running around, thought he was in India, which is why Aboriginal/Native/First Nation people were called the misnomer "Indians".
