Did you do an internship? If so are you still in contact with anyone there? Again if so maybe they might have a contact for you. Speak to your old Professors they always know the man next to the man... Of course you should just visit the t.v. and radio stations in your area and see what they have to offer. If you have not had an internship maybe you should try to get one many times interns are set up with a job or given good contacts for one if they do well during their time there. I would even go so far as to check the student centers at any colleges I your area as well as their career placement centers. You maynot start off where you want to be but you can always grow once you get your foot in the door.
I hope that I have helped!

I am a Broadcast major and Spanish minor Soror...My first question to you is what medium do you want to work in? Second, have you done any internships, if you have...link up with some of those professional folks and see if they know of anything available in that market or one smaller. In this field though it will be very hard finding a job if you've never ever done an internship! Go back to the Career Center at your school if they have one and register with them. Search the internet...I've found a lot of tv stations that are hiring...but you have to be willing to move out of state!! Network...Network....NETWORK is also a key to surviving in this business.

You might also want to talk to Sorors DirectorDST and I think Queen...I haven't seen her post on here in a while..but they are excellent sources of info in this field...

GOOD LUCK and keep in contact with me, who knows Soror, after next August you may have to help me find a job!

Post Sorors Help Me Find A Job

I have recently graduated college with a degree in Mass Communications production. I know where I want to be in life however I have no idea of how to get there. I need help finding a job. If there is anyone that you may know in the TV/Radio/Film industry let me know I'd greatly appreciate it.
