NPC Good Place To Start

Sniffer ~

A good place to start is the National Panhellenic Council's website. It includes links and information for all 26 international women's fraternities and sororities.

Maybe there are some other GCers that could provide more detailed info??

SniffDNZ098, this question has been asked quite a few times, and rarely fails to start a few arguments (and maybe some cyber-chest-thumping). Bottom line: Are you talking about NIC fraternities and NPC sororities? NPHC GLOs? Today's numbers or last month's numbers? (They change all the time). Check out these threads (found by doing a thread-title only search of the word "largest"):

What is the largest national sorority? (Fraternities did get included in the discussion.)

Largest Fraternities and sororities

What is the largest sorority?

Oh well, at least I got this posted before anyone said that Chi Omega is the largest women's organization (in terms of numbers) except for the Girl Scouts.

Edited to correct spelling.

According to NIC and TKE IHQ , TKE still has the most chapters. Don't know where ariesarisings numbers came from. #of Initiates looks rights.

Is Kappa Alpha Psi even NIC?

I don't think the question was aimed at the NIC but rather any and or all National orgs.......fraternities and sororites that is...

NIC states that TKE has the most chapters as well? Are we talking about chapters altogther or chapters that are recognized by the national as well as the university? That could play in the actual number and could change the findings on probably every fraternity....just a thought.

Yah they were ranked that way a couple months by Nic when i emailed them if they had an actaul list, the just told me the tope five though in chapters in initates. I remember SAE was in the top 5 as well.

If NPHC is in the ranking would most of the be bigger in chapter numbers than NIC and NPC?

Kappa Alpha Psi and Iota Phi Theta hold dual membership in both NIC and NPHC.
