Article from the online Daily Collegian
Evidently, approximately 400 girls received bids last night, and the new online system made things go more smoothly.
According to the article:
" Jane Neitz, assistant director of fraternity and sorority life, said that each chapter accepted approximately the same number of new members. 'Each chapter took 20 freshmen or sophomore status [members] and one junior," she said.'
Neitz said the new online registration system that PHC implemented this year was successful. '[The online system] is the best thing that's happened to our recruitment in a long time," she said.' Ashby also said the system had been very convenient.
'The system worked out great. The chapters found it to be easier as well as the members,' she said."
I'd be interested in hearing from anyone on GC who knows how things went - did all the sororities made quota (or close to it?)Anyone know how ASA did?
