How many service hours do you complete each semester?

In my chapter of APO, active brothers complete 15 hours of service per semester. Some of us wanted to increase that, starting with 17 or 18 and eventually to 20. (At least half of our brotherhood completed 17 hours last semester even though that amount wasn't necessary.)

So I was wondering what other chapters have as their service requirements. Also, do you find the amount of service you do to be too little or too much?

Thank you so much for your help!

Constitutionally, Mu Alpha requires 15 hours of service, I think?? It's been a while.

However, that's pretty much the last thing the chapter uses to determine who is "Active." Most times, Brothers who don't perform chapter projects for whatever reason can apply their outside projects and activities as "Service to the University" or what have you.

Kappa Upsilon typically requires 40 hrs. for Brothers, and 20 hours for Associate Brothers and pledges.
