Georgia?

Is there really about to be another Tri-Sigma chapter (well, colony for now!) in Georgia??????

I saw something at Armstrong Atlantic. If this is really old news, please delete this post!

I hope so. Our latest colonization will be at Embry Riddle Aeronautical Univ. ( Daytona, FL) in Fall 2004. I'll see if I we are coming to Armstrong.

Two local sororities at Armstrong Atlantic are becoming colonies of NPC groups. Theta Xi Alpha is going with Sigma Sigma Sigma, and The Philian Society is going with Alpha Sigma Tau.

I am SO EXCITED!!!

Hi everyone! My name is Megan Moore, president of Theta Xi Alpha Sorority at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia. Our local sorority will become a colony of Tri-Sigma next month!

We are all so VERY excited! We have been waiting for this for about 2 years now, and we are happy with our decision to go SIGMA SIGMA SIGMA.

Take Care!!,

AAHHH!!! I know this is SO exciting! See, AASU use to have a big greek life back in the day (60's until the 90's). Phi Mu, Alpha Gamma Delta, Sigma Kappa were all here. Basically numbers got low, and they all left.

When I got to AASU in 2001 I was like "WHERE did they all go?", lol. Both my mom and sister are sorority women so of course I wanted to keep the tradition going!!

Currently we have 18 girls, and we are recruiting hard during freshmen orientations. Another local sorority is colonizing with Alpha Sigma Tau and we also have 2 locals on campus.

Our ARC degree ceremony is August 21st!!! YAY!!! I can not WAIT to be pinned!!! Our recruitment chair is actually friends with a few girls from a chapter in Michigan (not sure which one though). We would love to have any Sigmas visit us in Savannah!! Hey ATL- Ogelthorpe University sisters- ya'll aren't far way!! :-)

Hi!

I'm an AOII who just surfed in here...I live in Savannah and am part-time faculty at AASU. So, if y'all need any help, please let me know! I'd be happy to help out during your colonization if needed!

I am part time in the music department--so if any of you need to take Music Appreciation, I usually teach it Tues and Thurs 6-7:15. I may also be teaching it MWF morning, although I'm not sure yet. And I also teach oboe lessons.

Hello from Savannah!

Hey everyone! My name is Amanda and I am the VP of Theta Xi Alpha which will soon be affiliating with Tri Sigma in the fall...a few weeks away! Right now we are all very excited and anxious to see what this sorority is all about. As a future new member is there any advice that ya'll might share that would make this experience even more memorable for the ladies... anything at all! I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend, Amanda
