The "Murdered Prom Queen" went over really well the year I did it. I had on this poufy, heinous prom dress that my sister had in the 80s, and I put lots of makeup on to make my face look really pale and lifeless. Underneath my eyes I put purple shadow so they looked really creepy, and I applied some of that fake blood across my throat so that it kind of ran down my neck a little. You can also go the extra mile and wear a dead corsage (my winter dance one from high school worked nicely), and make sure your hair is all messed up--for a bonus point, add some leaves--to make it look like you were drug out in the woods or something. Don't forget your "prom queen" sash. Trust me, everybody loved the costume...I might break it out again this year.

Thumbs up

Did this one time! Won the Prize!

Old song, Jolly Green Giant and The Amazon. Both painted, She wore a Bone in her hair and we had skimpy Togas on..

First bone when went to get it, the butcher cut it up thinking it was for Soup. DA! Moron. Was a close call to get it for Her hair.

Oh, use washable paint, is fun to get in shower and get clean!

Ah, the good old days!

last yrs costume

I had this really hideous lime and sparkle green tulle formal and it was just UGLY!

I cut up past my knees and cut stripes into it. Then i dyed satin white isotoner slipers to yellow and put on a pom on each slipper and found some nylon lavender fairy wings and a yellow wig and went as TINKERBELL

this was, i think, 3 years ago....i was "diva smurfette"....blue grease body paint everywhere. last year i was a "pre-ben j-lo" and the then bf was p. diddy. this year, betty boop. smurfette was probably my fave, though, b/c me and my date papa smurf got the best reactions. that year, one of my sisters and her date came dressed in all black, with a black circle around one eye and a bright green "p" on their shirts....yep, they were "black eyed p's"....

BlazerCheer went to a party as a Halloween table and won $50!

She got a 4x4 piece of strong cardboard and cut a hole for her head. Then she set the table with 4 settings of Halloween partyware--plates, napkins, forks, and cups--that she glued to the table. Finally she painted her face like a pumpkin and stuck it through the middle to be the centerpiece!

Those were some good ones . . .

My friend and I were thinking of going as trick or treat.

She being trick - dressing a little . . . skanky.

And me being treat - with candy all over my outfit.

Thoughts? I need more ideas!

My friend and I did a conjoined twin ghost one year - we'd committed mutual suicide because we'd fallen in love with the same man. Isn't very condusive to walking around on your own, though!

I saw a picture of a couple once - the guy was dressed as a salesman (suit, fedora, briefcase) and the woman was dressed as the Grim Reaper. They were "Death and a Salesman".

I like your trick or treat idea, though!

That puts my pregnant Mouseketeer to shame! My roomie & I both wore the old fashioned Mouseketeer costumes, only pregnant, with "Done by Disney" on the back.

I no longer celebrate Halloween, however.
