funny college student website
This website is funny as hell. It's a fake newspaper (like the Onion) about Pitt and the surrounding area. But most of it is pertinent to all college student in general. Some things out of towners won't get, but many they will. The name on the website is a play on "South Oakland" which is an area around campus which is essentially the collegiate ghetto.

Hey Danielle -

I was reading the "local bands" article in this and here is the funny thing:

1. Mr. 33 was in Seventh House and designed the "kick ass logo"

2. He is now in a band with the former lead singer from Stone Soup.

It's a small world after all....

BTW his main band has a show at Nick's on Thurs, so if you & Cheyenne want to come along after the meeting...

i think sombrero man is photographed more often that the cathedral! So many people have pictures of him.

For a the greek week scavenger hunt, his sombrero was worth 100 points. One house bought him a pizza to get him to let them borrow it.

He is definately an Oakland icon

HAHAH sometimes living in ghetto oakland is worth it...
