Alum volunteers?

I'm interested to see if anyone else on here is an alum volunteer. How has your experience been as a volunteer? Will you continue serving?

I just finished my first academic year as a AAA; it's been great so far, I'm glad I accepted the position

I actually have given up my AAA post for the time being - between planning a wedding, work and other personal matters I just didn't have the time to commit to the position.

It was a very good experience to be an advisor for a year though, and I'd be interested in doing it again at another time.
