I am in charge of Greek Week at Southeast Missouri State University and our week consists of a Red Cross blood drive, volunteering at Special Olympics, a community event called Family FunFair where community members bring their children out to make crafts and other fun things, Greek Games, a volleyball tournament, a mystery event (last year it was Win, Lose, or Draw), Greek Sing, All-Greek chapter meeting, and a Greek God/Greek Goddess contest where each sorority and fraternity has a representative that raises money for the united way and the one who raises the most from each council wins and gets points. We also have an academic excellence reception in coordination with Rho Lambda, we give points for spirit during the week, and we have a banner contest. We used to rent out the local movie theater and have a midnight movie, but nobody really liked that because there were never enough seats and everyone would fall asleep.
I hope this helps. We pack a whole lot into the week.
