I'll be a freshman this year a HBCU and I have always wanted to be an Alpha. Just trying to get some advice on what I need to do as a freshman interested in pledging.

Please do not disclose any further personal details, read the Alpha Phi Alpha section of GreekChat, and visit the official fraternity website. Also, and perhaps most importantly, get to know the Alphas on your campus when you get there.

Thanks to both of you for the feedback. I'll do that, but I was just asking because I'm going to a HBCU, and I'll techinically be starting as a first semester sophomore. I'm older (24) so I was just trying to see if that makes much of a difference.
