KD King
KD King is my chapter's newest philanthropy project! (This will be our 3rd year!) It's a male beauty pageant that all housing units participate in - Fraternities, sororities, underclass & upperclass housing units all sponsor guys. We have all of the beauty pageant categories -casual wear, evening wear, questions, talent... This project is a favorite of the entire campus, and we're looking to make this year better than the previous two!
All of the money raised is donated to an alumnae sister who has breast cancer. Chemotherapy treatments are very expensive, and she does not have health insurance. The sisters of ZTA help out b/c breast cancer is their national philanthropy.
I'm posting this hear because I have noticed that a lot of people that post are from the Pittsburgh area. Our KD chapter is in Bethany, WV...about 50 miles outside of Pittsburgh.
