Cool Curious

With GCers IMing and chatting w/ each other lately, I'm curious have any other GCers have witnessed this besides me...

Some of you all have staight up split personalities.

What I see on the message boards is entirely diffrerent what I see in chat and/or IMs.

There's a few mild and "quiet" GCers who turned out to be wild women/men outside of this message board.

Also, there's one GCer who is kind of known as firecracker on the boards, who just enjoy laying back and observing the chat mayhem, rarely saying a word.

Who cares! I don't think it's split personalities really. GC isn't exactly a CHAT environment. It's a POSTING environment. So how can someone be quiet in a posting environment? You either post or you don't. But in chatting environments you can play off of each other and people can get wild and goofy. And perhaps that's the side you don't get to see because this isn't really the board to discuss certain things.

i know that as far as i'm concerned, there are a couple GCers who can post and really rile my feathers. I try to keep my feelings confined to their words and not necessarily their persons.

As far as group chats go, i'm not on GC to make enemies, i'm here to interact with different Greeks and expand my horizons, that being said, in a more personal setting i'm much more laid back and open.

That's why I used "quiet" quotation marks. I meant quiet as in not saying anyting outrageous or too revealing of themselves.

My bad, I sometimes forget it's there.
