Jubilee, Anyone?

So, did anyone else watch parts of the Jubilee over the weekend? I admit that I couldn't watch as much as I'd like.

What were your favorite parts?
Were you excited to see anyone/group in particular?
Do you have a favorite Royal (or two)?

I didn't see any coverage, but I did read the news articles. I heard about the Queen's skit with Paddington Bear and so I had to go find the video. It was very cute! It was very sporting of the Queen to participate in the skit and show some fun. The Jubilee concert looked very well done. Good on her for 70 years!

I DVR'd the coverage from Thursday and Friday and watched other stuff on Youtube. I'm embarrassed that I'm slightly obsessed with the Royal Family. And, in honor of the jubilee am now re-watching The Crown. LOL.

I did have three friends who actually went to London for the Jubilee. They all had a fabulous time and I'm insanely jealous of them!

I've watched as many broadcasts that I've been able to view online. Trooping the Color is one of my favorite royal events of the year, so it was wonderful to see it return after a two year absence.

I really enjoyed the clips that I've seen of the Party at the Palace and the Pageant. As always, I'm impressed by the British flair for pomp and pageantry.

I would like to watch the entire concert -- I've only seen the opening Queen/Adam Lambert portion.

The Paddington skit was so cute! I loved Princess Charlotte's reaction to that...she was grinning ear to ear!

If anyone hears of where to watch the whole concert, please let me know!

LOVED the Paddington skit!

And yes, when it comes to pagaentry, the British are tops!

Found this little nugget: We’ve come to the conclusion that this is Prince Louis’s world and we’re all living in it! 🤣🤣 #PlatinumJubilee #PrinceLouis

Loved watching all of Prince Louis' antics!! I am shocked at the people criticizing Kate for not "controlling" him better. Please. He is a 4 yr old being asked to sit still and be quiet for events that he probably thinks are boring and he gets tired. Next time, put him beside his dad, the future King, and let's see how how his power works!!!

Yep...it's a good thing all those people never had to parent their young children with cameras watching every move! I think Kate is a wonderful mother!

The Queen's hologram-in-a-carriage 'appearance' sparked an old memory for me. While visiting London in the 50s my mother caught a close glimpse of QEII, long enough to forever after remark that the Queen has the loveliest skin one can imagine.

My fav royal appeared during a few of the much older QEII clips: Queen Mary, stately, regal and tall.
