ASU rush
Hi! I am a freshman currently and I didn't attend rush this fall but am now interested in Greek life. Do ASU sororities rush in the spring at all? Do asu sororities accept sophmores? If anyone can help me that would be great! Thanks!

ASU? Arizona State? Arkansas State?
Best source of information is your Campus Panhellenic or Greek Life office. Contact them directly to find out if Spring Recruitment is possible.

I went to Arizona State! Some sororities do have spring rush, but not all. I can't tell you much about the taking of sophomores part. What I can tell you is that I know my sorority will all years of students...especially since I pledged OPA in my 3rd year at ASU!

Some Chapters do participate in spring recruitment.
It is very easy for a Sophomore to get a bid on ASU's campus. My advice to you is to keep your grades high (the all sorority average is over a 3.0) and to get involved on campus. Also hold leadership positions
I would call Greek Life and have your name put on a potential new member list. If Chapters recruit in the Spring Panhellenic will provide the Chapters with that list of women and contact information.

ASU does do spring recruitment. It will obviously be less chapters, as most are at or above total right now due to fall recruitment. Greek life office will know more. Plus, if they still do this, when I was at school there the chapters would set up tables on the mall so students would know who was open for spring recruitment.
I can't speak for the other chapters, but I know that at least 4 years ago ADPi took a fall recruitment class with a mix of freshman (most were), sophomores and juniors.
Keep your grades up. Get to know people in your classes or within your major. If you decide not to do anything in the spring, do fall recruitment. ASU isn't a super duper competitive rush (not like an SEC). Sophomores have received bids before. Obviously you would still need to maintain your GPA and your image around campus as well as keeping your options open (as always with recruitment). Good luck in whatever you decide!

Arkansas State
According to irishpipes' thread,
http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...d.php?t=125397
there is one colony, three chapters made quota and one chapter she didn't have results for.

That was two years ago, though. She's probably good now.
