Unhappy A sad time...

Hi sisters!
One thing I have learned by being a Phi Sig, is that when you are having a problem, you have all of you sisters to help you.
Well I have one...
One of my friends from HS (he graduated a year ahead of me) died on the 24th of June. It has hit our community hard. He was a wonderful person, a dive instructor in Florida and an grea member of the PHHS Marching band. He was an only child too...
If you pray, please pray for his friends and family, and I will gladly accept any advice or suggestions (for things for the family). His funeral is this Saturday. We are having a party in his honor too... he would have liked that.
This is the first time Im losing someone my age... Ive lost many others, but this is different you know?

Today was Mike's funeral. We all wore hawaiian shirts, and there was a 30-40 car procession throughout Penn Hills (a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA) It was beautiful. It poured this morning, but cleared up for us. We had a party last night at his house, and played spoons, his favorite game. Today at the reception, we shared stories... Many of us are getting a dive flag tattoo... and alot of us want to dive now... Thank you all for responding... and thank you to those of you who didnt respond, but still read about Mike. He was the most wonderful person, who could make anyone smile, even if their world had just fallen apart... He was everyones friend, and just didnt have a bad bone in his body... He will be missed terribly.
