Great movie. Crazy how he was able to lie and live double, triple, and quadruple lives.

Am I the only one watching it?

My homie from Will and Grace plays Clark Rockefeller.

I was up at my friend's house with her and another friend watching this (we were all in a Mexican food coma) and were getting really into it when the sound went out!!! And she has an old TV w/ no captions built in. Luckily, it's on again tomorrow so we can find out who the eff Clark Rockefeller is.

Same here.

It blacked out and then came back without the sound. It happened like A MINUTE AFTER I made this thread.

They aired it again last night, but it either sounded out again or I fell asleep on it. I can't remember.

I'm going to watch it tonight.

I had been looking forward to this movie and was pissed to have nothing but a soundless movie and a wikipedia entry.

But, I did watch enough in both airings to be able to say this much:

1) The actor is hotter than the real Clark Rockefeller

2) He infiltrated "high society" which says as much about them as it says about him
3) His Quaker-ceremonied wife was dumb and way too trusting. Sure, the Rockefellers aren't at his wedding because they don't want to take away from HER day. Sure. (he was married twice and I can't keep up with which marriage was the Quaker one that wasn't legally recognized)
4) He was arrested 6 days after abducting his daughter and I believe he was convicted of that. He was also a suspect in the disappearance of the husband and wife whose home he lived in. I believe that wasn't the subject of the movie, though.

My other question is this...SNOOKS??? WTF is that? Why on earth would you call your child a nickname from the 1930s??

Not familiar with the show but in any event this guy was a con artist that authorities went after a few years ago in Boston. He claimed to be a relative to the wealthy Rockefeller family. Among the real Rockefeller family, David Rockefeller, founded the Trilateral Commission while he was Chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations in July of 1973.
