lavaliering/pinning

Hey Bros,

I know we're not allowed to give away our badges (hence the Sweetheart Pins), but what is everyone's opinion on lavaliering? My girlfriend and I have been together for over a year and she is not in a Greek organization nor will she ever be because her school does not have Greek life.

I'd especially like to hear back from brothers in a Greek system where it's not commonplace and is rarely ever done since that's where I'm coming from.

I say go ahead and do it. Take your pledges or some brothers with you to sing her the sweetheart song and put our letters around her neck. I've been considering giving my girlfriend a lavaliere myself, but I'm waiting for the right week to go to her chapter meeting.
