Pedicures are the best! You have to get your feet ready to dance..I have a do it yourself pedicure, but it's kind of long, so bear with me, ok:
1. Soak you feet in warm water with any of the following added to it: tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil, vitamin E. Whatever-I use orange oil, peppermint oil, and lavender oil..feels so yummy!
2. Towel off one foot, clip toenails, and file. Put that foot back in the water, and do the other one. While you're at it, push back your cuticles, too.
3. Get some exfoiliating scrub, and scrub each foot, one at a time.
4. Dry both feet. Get a facial mask-or foot mask-I just use whatever face mask I have handy- and apply it all over both feet. Put a plastic grocery bag over each foot, and just kind of hang out for a bit.
5. Rinse off one foot, and rub lotion or massage oil onto it. Wrap that foot up in a towel, and then do the other one. I usually use lotion, if you use oil, you have to rinse your feet after you sit with them in towels. Plus, I don't even use towels for this part..
6. Finally, put on a base coat, and then your nail polish.
It takes me about an hour to do, but thats because I let my feet soak for a while and just take my time. I swear it is so worth the effort..my feet are always so soft after I do this!!
