I'm an alum and haven't heard much. I do know that over 200 went through this year, as is normal. I don't know what quota was and where each of the houses stand, though. If you do a search for the Stanford Daily and then search the Daily for sorority, you should find something.

Just talked to my cousin who is an active Tri Delta there. She said Quota was 29 and all but one chapter got it.

stanford

Hey,

I'm from Stanford, actually, though just checking out ChiO stuff on the web since I am thinking about joining. But here's the inside scoop on formal recruitment: it didn't go well. I think they bid about 1 or 2 people, but that's all. However, they've been doing informal recruitment this weekend and it's been great--I was at a recruitment dinner tonight with about 20 other girls, and a lot of us were pretty sold. I think rush at Stanford is very difficult and has such negative stereotypes that a lot of great girls decide not to rush...but are now being pulled in to events through friends, etc.

So not to worry too much. They're working on it. I'm hoping to join...

I got back from a Nu Alpha bid-day breakfast where 41 women accepted bids. Welcome to Chi Omega ladies!
