Pi Phi Prayers
I thought it would be good if we started a prayer thread...
Please pray for my big big sister (she graduated in '02). Her mother died yesterday of a brain aneuryism.

I will do that, breathesgelatin...a death from an aneurysm is so sudden and sad.
Y'all...please pray for my husband and me. We have filed suit against someone who has done something terrible.

This is an awesome thread! I will pray for both of your loved ones and yourselves.
Also please pray for my brother and his family, he started drug rehab last week and its really tough for his family since he's in Florida for a month.

I don't usually pray and I'm not religious, but for those of you that do can you please say a prayer of thanks that my friend was not killed in his car accident.

I just found out that a chapter member's father passed away this Saturday, apparently from a heart attack. She was my pledge sister and we're very good friends. Please pray for her and her family.

Prayer requests
My PiPhi sister Corinna has a degenerative bone disease and for the second time in late May, the tiny bones in her trachea began to break because of a cough she caught and she had to be hospitalized right around finals. Please keep her in your prayers so that she may weather this disease in the best possible health

I see that this was posted in February...so the timing is about right. I's suggest picking up the book "Motherless Daughters: The Legacy of Loss," by Hope Edelman, for your Big Sister now. I got it a year after my mother's death right around a hard time in my life (my college graduation). It'd be great to give your big sister with the holidays coming up. It was a huge part of my healing process and I think every young adult who has lost their mother (at any time in her life, but especially in young adulthood) should read it.

Please pray for me and a few of my sisters. We went through a hard time over the summer and now our relationship is strained and not really there anymore. Please just pray that we can work things out and remain friends

Please pray for my father-in-law. He survived one bout with lung cancer but it came back and he just finished chemo. He'll find out this month if it worked. He doesn't want to do chemo again if it didn't.

Say a small prayer for my sister in law, she's pregnant and due at the end of Feb but is in the hospital and they are trying to keep her from going into labor. They hope she can make it at least another 3 weeks.

I'll do that. Four weeks early wouldn't be bad at all, if she can hang in there for 3 more!
My father-in-law found out that his cancer is still the same size. He'll begin a stronger oral medication this week. I'm worried about him...he's 82. We love him so much. Please pray for this wonderful, selfless man!
