Congratulations Ladies We are celebrating our recent chartering with a "Chartering Dinner" on 6/28/04. We are having dinner at an Italian restaurant in Little Italy here in NYC.

I am having as much fun now as I was in college I think AA's are such a terrific idea! If I didn't have my new little monster (my pug) I'd like to have come to convention, since I've never been. I am pretty sure we will have a sister there though.

Really? I'd love to come if I could find someone nearby to hold my pup. Although sometimes hotels let ya bring pets if ya keep them in their crate. Umms, how does it work can alumnae crash last minute? I know some alumnae sisters have been toying around with the idea of coming down to convention

Why don't you board your dog?? It would probably be less expensive than paying the airline the pet fee--I think its $50 each way depending on the airline.
The more the merrier at Convention!!! You should come!! You probably need to make your plans now though. Airfare is not cheap into San Antonio so the more time you have to plan, the better. Additionally, I think we're coming up on deadlines to the hotel for rooms and food, etc.
I'd offer to let you keep your pooch at my house but I have three dogs who would probably count him among their chew toys.

My mom will also be in the city visiting my aunt. She could watch your pup. Pugs are her favorite.

I'm on Convention Team, and next Convention will definitely be somewhere in the Northeast in 2006. Final decision has not yet been made. Alison, NYC will be in 2017 probably, for the centennial, so hold tight

A whole host of factors go into it, from how expensive a city is, how competitive bids are from cities, where our alumnae and chapters are, among other things.

I vote for NYC, Philadelphia, Boston, or DC area. All are within roadtrip distance for me and most of the chapters.
