Theta Pin (badge)

My Theta pin was stolen in a burglary in 1981. I want to replace it. Can anyone help with that? I am bidding on one on eBay. Thanks.

You might want to contact your HQ.

At least with ADPi you can buy a replacement pin (or an "upgrade" pin) through the HQ. I would imagine most GLOs would be the same.

I would second the vote to contact your HQ. I know that orders for Alpha Gamma Delta badges are all coordinated through our IHQ (even when purchasing from an authorized supplier - the order still goes through them).

I've heard of some HQs having refurbished badges on sale (presumably those that were returned to the HQ after the passing and/or de-affiliating of a member).

The problem I have with the eBay route is that the more these get purchased, the more incentive people have to list them if they inappropriately get their hands on a badge. Though at least in your case, it would be a Theta actually purchasing a Theta badge, which is better than it falling into the wrong hands and/or being purchased by someone who wouldn't respect it.

I agree with the above posters, you can order a new badge from the approved vendors through HQ, and you can even do it online. Just go to the website kappaalphatheta.org, and go to the Theta Marketplace, you can buy a badge that way. Hope this helps!
