Congrats frater
Frater T.J. Schmitz, Executive Vice President Emeritus, was elected to serve on the 15-person North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) Board of Directors at the NIC's annual meeting this past weekend in Washington, D.C.
Frater Schmitz, who served for twenty years as the CEO of the Fraternity, received the unamimous support of the NIC House of Delegates, composed of representatives from each NIC member fraternity. During his two-year term, T.J. will work to represent the interests of TKE and the entire fraternity movement. Frater Schmitz joins a list of high caliber Tekes to serve on the NIC Board in the past twenty years. Those include Past Grand Prytani Bill Muse and Rodney Williams. Frater Rodney also served as TKE's first and only NIC President. Congratulations, T.J., on your election. Good luck in serving the male fraternity system on the NIC Board.
