Red face Awards Returned -- Red Faces at U. of New Hampshire

The recent awards for University of New Hampshire Senior Greek Man of the Year and Junior Greek Man of the Year have been returned. Both of the gentlemen were recently arrested on separate alcohol-related charges.

I'll bet the Greek awards people are not happy. On the other hand, some of the people who didn't get awards may be feeling a little Schadenfreude, but that's normal.

Short Associated Press story:

Edited to add: When it comes to coverage of Greeks, some people think of most media sources in the same way that Jerry's dad on "Seinfeld" described "The Boca Breeze" -- a "pinko commie rag." For those people, I need to point out that the Union Leader (about as conservative as any newspaper) has a slightly longer version of the awards-return story:

The Union Leader is my local paper, and I'd argue that it's more conservative than almost any newspaper anywhere. Sensationalist, often, but liberal, never.

I read about the first incident, and wondered how long it would take before the news was posted here. Very sad to see this black eye for the UNH Greeks.
