We always do BBQ's and stuff like that. Food brings us together, mostly becuase we don't do a dinner like some chapters do. Ropes courses are usually fun, I do them with our chapter, and you would be amazed at how community service events will bring together guys. Hope that helps.

Just hanging out together and watching tv, or other simple shit like that helps our bond out. Spending time together is the easiest and simplest way to bond.

The best thing I remember from pledging was a road trip. Now, it was 4 pledges and we just decided that we wanted to do it, the brothers were not involved at all o it wasn't hazing. (Just wanted to put that out there). I go to Southern Illinois University, we drove 1 1/2 hours across the border to Missouri to bootleg some Fat Tire. It may sound odd but that was the best bonding experience I had. In fact, the three guys that I went with ended up being my best friends and the ones that I still stay in closest contact with.

we did a "pledge retreat" where we drove to specific locations all across the state of Texas, and accomplished different tasks from a list created by members. One of the most fun times of my life!

Bonding
Doing an officers retreat for new officers is good so you are all on the same page and there you plan a chapter retreat, it can be as simple as going out into the woods for the day and having some lunch and talking around a campfire.
#1 rule: NO BOOZE!
#2 rule: Encourage honesty and sincerity, no insults but good criticism.
#3 rule: Make it a little fun...go fishing, hiking, whatever guys are into.

I agree with the above.
Except with rule #1
