AOII Tattoos?
So I was wondering if any of you ladies have tattoos representing AOII?
I was thinking about getting something AOII related, but not sure. A couple of my sisters have roses and such, but i was thinking something a little more creative. Any ideas??

No. I don't like tattoos. They may be cute now but I have seen people pushing 80 with older ones. Let's just say that gravity is unkind.

Second that!
And if you insist on getting one, please don't get it on your chest, stomach, hip, lower back, or butt. Pregnancy is VERY unkind to those areas and I have seen some very nice (if you can call a tattoo that) tattoos turn into unrecognizable modern art pieces after a baby.
I do remember a sister who had a sheaf of wheat tattoo on her ankle, but she didn't want to put the letters on it, so on the ribbon that held the sheaf together and she had our submotto on it (it looked like a bow). It was nice, but I hope she never gets swollen ankles!

if i may bump in for a moment...
i have three tats, but refuse to get one with my greek symbols. one of my line sisters has them on the back of her shoulder with her line name under it...so does my sis-in-law... its a very cute tattoo, but i would rather choose who i let know i am greek or not. that whole "first impressions" thing, you know?
i think a rose or other flower/animal that represents could be cute, in the right place, and when people ask why you got it, you can tell them why if you want to.

A couple of my pledge class sister got tattoos on their feet. It is just a red rose and the stem of the rose makes the infinity symbol.

Ok, so I have a rose tattoo on my ankle. I got it because I didnt want to get AOII tattooed on me and Alpha Omicron Pi is really long, but since the rose is our flower I figured that would be good. I know what it stands for and I tell others when they ask why I have a rose.

No tattoos for me--my mother had a hard enough time wrapping her head around the greek life concept, let alone a permanently etched symbol on my person of my AOII loyalty!
Now, don't everyone run out at once and get Exceed the Expectation tats. Not sure that's the kind of brand use HQ was aiming for!!!

Not to mention...unlike AOII, "exceed the expectation" may not last forever!

For what it's worth, I still miss the 'Power of Friendship' one (but no, never had a tattoo and never will!)

I still like "One Motto, One Badge, One Bond and Singleness of Heart." And when I hear "Power of Friendship" I automatically say AOII in my head after it. I guess that's the point of brand recognition!

Three of my sisters got AOII tattoos, I went with them as the anti-tattoo person. (My mother told me that if I ever got a tattoo, she would take it off with a sander.) My friends got a cross that flowed into a heart that flowed into an anchor. There's a picture of it somewhere.
