Should I rush UTexas this Fall?

Hello everyone.

Just got accepted as a UT transfer. About me? Iv been working as a part time (20yold) professional auto mechanic while getting my 2year degree, while also preparing for Engineering school. Just got accepted to Cockrell. (unlike most engineer majors, I still maintain an outgoing life).

I'v been working in the professional field, but now I'm quitting and going back to school mode.

Just moved to Austin, I need to get myself out there again, as I was pretty outgoing in highschool. Should I look at joining a brotherhood? I'm just curious as to how I should research my living situation. If i were to join a fraternity, I would most likely live in the house. In that case, I wouldn't look for apartments this summer. Sound accurate?

Any input? Hit it up.

Thanks guys/girls
