Jim Fassel Fired By Giants

Will continue coaching the rest of the season.

He is a good coach, but I guess the buck stops at the top.

That's Sad. First, Reeves. Now, Fassel. Next in line will be Butch Davis.

Don't know how I felt about Fassel. There was the NFC championship season, but the blown game against San Fran last year was heart-breaking, and they really haven't been all that great in the regular season the past few years.

Will be interesting to see who they hire.

Who succeeds JF?

It's too bad about Fassel, but you better win in New York. When you have guys like pretty Tiki Barber, mouthy Jeremy Shockey, gap-toothed Michael Strahan, etc., I think the fans have a great deal of expectations.

Who's out there who could handle that type of pressure?

One man can, unfortunately he is in Dallas right now.

Yup. I don't think Bill Parcells will make a triumphant return to the Meadowlands.
