“WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Purdue University announced Thursday two fraternities and two sororities have been placed on probation for alcohol-related violations.

The Sigma Chi and Phi Gamma Delta fraternities, along with the Pi Beta Phi and Delta Zeta sororities, were placed on probation until May, according to Martia Brawner King, interim associate dean of students.

The sanctions as a result of a co-sponsored event in which the university claims all four organizations were involved and were found to have made alcohol available to minors. . . . “
